Doxycycline Hydrochloride – Doxycycline for Acne Rosacea

I was prescribed Doxycycline 100mg, to be taken once per day for 30 consecutive days. This is my second round (2nd month), and I am taking it for rosacea. I have very oily skin on my face and a few months ago with the change of climate and added work stress I developed recurrent acne breakouts. Initially, I was considering Isotretinoin (Accutane) because people I know have experienced very positive results after just a few weeks of using this. But after weighing out my options, I went for the less drastic option to target the bacterial infection instead of the controlling sebum production.
